HALCYON DAYS
The collection is filled with photographs that take me back in time. I would love for each photograph to transport the viewer to a place that was filled with light and warmth, a place that was simple and uncomplicated. If we could jump into a photograph and go back in time, surely it would be into a field of wildflowers with a gentle sea breeze, or by a river in Summer with an old friend by our side. Photography is simply a process in which we use to immortalise a moment and to say look; we were happy and the sun really did shine.
“I am a photographer living between London and Cornwall, and through my work I aim to capture the light of the seasons as they pass year by year. I have an enduring love for this little part of Cornwall I live in, the cliff top wild flowers and long rambling walks along the coast path. My first love is film photography and I am never without a roll of 35mm film and a rather heavy canon camera of which I keep buying replicas due to their age and how I often I break them! “ Katy Lawrence
Frames
The oak frames are available in three colours natural wood, ebony stain or lime wax white. They are all hand made in Cumbria and framed professionally with an ivory mount and real glass.
Framed images can take up to three weeks to arrive.
Unframed images up to two weeks to arrive.
